Wedding Photography at Bartlett Hills Country Club with Amber and Jack
We like to share with you the highlights from Jack and Amber’s wedding:
Amber and Jack received overwhelming support from their friends and family for their Greek and American combined wedding.
Getting Ready
Amber accompanied her mom to search for a photographer at the Bridal show at Holiday Inn Elgin. Her mom was impressed by our wedding photography knowledge.
Jack is from Cyprus and now lives in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago where American Greek weddings are popular and he met the love of his life.
The groomsmen and bridesmaids were preparing to get ready at Chicago Marriott North West in Hoffman Estates. The bride got her hair and makeup was done at Spa Blu in South Barrington.
Wedding Ceremony
Jack and Amber had their Wedding at Greek Church in Palatine St. Nectarios. The ceremony entailed the following in order:
- Exchanging of rings
- Candle lighting
- The Crowning
- Bible Readings
- Drinking from the common cup
- The ceremonial walk
- The proclamation of Husband and Wife to crown it all
After the ceremony, the couple had several photos taken outside the church where the Limo with cold champagne awaited them.
Wedding Photo Session
Amber and Jack’s wedding photo session was done at Bartlett Hills Country Club. As photographers, we were able to provide them with affordable photography and use our artistic eyes to capture some of the best moments of their wedding.
Party & Reception
After the photo session, everybody joined the bride and the groom in the venue to enjoy the mixture of American and Greek tradition with foods and music. They began with the introduction followed by cutting the cake. The parents of the groom threw dollars in the air while at the dance, a symbol of wishing the couple prosperity.
John from the P and J Production entertained the guests for the entire night. Everyone continued dancing even as the sky became stormy.
We enjoyed working Mary Gerhart, the event director at BartlettHills Country Club. We also worked well with Radko the videographer who captured the entire event successfully.
