Gabrielle & Dustin | Wedding Photography Herrington Inn |  Geneva IL

Wedding Photography Herrington Inn with Gabrielle and Dustin.  They had one of the most beautiful engagements that could occur in the fall. Meeting Gabrielle and Dustin painted the perfect picture of love and warmth. Their wedding was held at Herrington Inn and Spa, Geneva IL. The wedding seemed to provide an aura of warmth around the NW suburbs and the smiles on the guest’s faces depicted an event of fun and excitement. The experience in the wedding photography Geneva IL showed clearly in the wedding pictures.

With the help of a one-of-a-kind wedding photography Herrington service, the couple was able to print a beautiful guest book with photos of everyone having a great time. This also brings a fun opportunity for guests to look through and sign.

Not a single soul was left out, as Gabrielle’s daughter, Giana, was an important part of the wedding. The ceremony also presented a significant moment where Giana accepted Dustin as her father. She even had a first look with Dustin on the steps of the Herrington Inn.

All of these beautiful events took place at the Herrington Inn, and the photos from the wedding depict just how beautiful the wedding was.

Gabrielle took her time getting ready in a room that faced the ceremony place and the Fox River. I took one of my favorite photos there with Gabrielle looking down as the staff was preparing the ceremony place.

The proud groom got ready on the other side of the luxury venue. This fantastic ceremony was officiated by Dustin’s hilarious uncle Bill, who obtained a license especially for this event. This event was a truly emotional one, and a couple of photos show Gabrielle’s and Dustin’s sisters crying their eyes out at the event.

Afterwards, the couple took a lot of family photos. The eventful wedding reception held at the other wing of the Herrington Inn and was an event to remember. With the parents entering one end of the venue and the bride and groom from another end, this reception was definitely one of a kind. With a lot of laughter and dancing, this wedding ceremony is definitely one to remember. There were speeches and there was the fun part when Dino – the groom’s father was serving everyone with a special Italian drink. It was a perfect picture of fun and laughter, and is the perfect way to launch the couple into marital bliss.

How did the proposal go? We came home from dinner one night and when I walked in to the house my suitcase was laying out on the floor with my hiking boots in it. I asked him what was going on and he told me I needed to pack the rest of my things because a limo was picking us up to take us to the airport. He told me we were going to Highlands, North Carolina. It is a very small town at the top of a mountain in the Smokeys that holds a huge spot in my heart. I grew up visiting my grandparents there and my happiest memories growing up were held there. I was in total disbelief! Very excited but also very nervous about leaving so suddenly and being away from my daughter and without giving her any notice. I did not want to hurt Dustin’s feelings because I could tell he put a lot of thought into this surprise trip. So I decided to go with the flow. We landed in Atlanta and drove up the mountain and had so much fun stopping at beautiful wineries and breathtaking cliffs and overlooks along the way. Finally we arrived at my favorite hotel in town. I was so excited! In all of our years of friendship growing up he has heard so much about this perfect little place and I was so excited to show him around! Once we settled in he mentioned he wanted me to show him my favorite spot, “sunset rock” (a very short hike to the secret little cliff only the locals no of) He timed everything perfectly (with out me realizing) so we arrived right at Sunset and it was Breathtaking. Right there on top of this beautiful mountain he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I of course was shocked and so happy! It was so perfect. When we were leaving he told me we had dinner reservations at my favorite iItalian restaurant I use to go to with my grandpa. I was so happy, I hadn’t been there in years. When we walked in, both of our families were sitting there! And my daughter, front and center! I have never been so surprised in my life! Still to this day when I think about it, I don’t now how he pulled it all off!

How would you sum up your wedding in a few sentences? It was an absolutely perfect day. The sun was shining and the sky was blue. It was very elegant and romantic. A day filled with so much emotion and love.

What was important to you about your wedding? We really wanted everyone to understand our story. We were best friends that have been on this long journey in life that finally led us together to our happily ever after. It was a day not only about the two of us but also about two families becoming one.

What made your venue “the one”? We were looking for something elegant and romantic with an intimate feel. Also we both love to be around water. The Herrington is situated on the river. We walked to the entrance of the Herrington and both looked at each other with a big smile and agreed it was the one.

What made the day really special to you? I married my best friend in front of all of the people who we love the most. I looked at my husband that day and realized I was the luckiest girl in the world.

What advice would you give to brides and grooms planning their day? Staying organized is key. Dont loose sight of what is the most important thing, this is the day you are marrying the love of your life. At the end of the day that is the most important thing. Everything else is just minor details.

Where did you go on honeymoon? First We spent 9 days exploring Italy. We were able to fulfill a lifelong dream of my husbands by visiting his family in a small Village in Tuscany where his grandfather grew up. It was very special! We also visited the iItalian Riviera, Lake Como and Venice. We then took a cruise from Venice to Dubrovnik Croatia, Crete Geeece, Ephesus Turkey, Santorini Greece and Athens Greece.
