BLUESTEM FARM WEDDING PHOTOS

Bridget and Rob – Fall Wedding at Bluestem Farm in Hebron IL

Bridget and Rob met in November of 2013. Rob moved in with her best friend Rocky and she was always hanging around Rocky’s house which is how she got to know Rob.  I’m so excited to share images from a recent wedding I did that took place at Bluestem Farm in Hebron IL,  which was obviously the PERFECT location since the newlyweds had a romantic, rustic-inspired wedding! Bridget and Rob thought this thing through from beginning to end, and there wasn’t a shortage of dreamy, Pinterest-worthy moments. I mean, check this out:

The Blue Stem Farm in Hebron was Built in the early 1900’s, De Graslanden barn is all vintage with a touch of modern. Originally a dairy barn, this two level event space has been transformed to a classic and elegant wedding and event barn with many modern amenities. As you could see in the above photos, the couple got ready at the farm then did a first look and an outdoor ceremony. The outdoor ceremony was just amazing as the sun was setting. Bridget favorite moment it was during the first look when Rob got to see her in the wedding dress for the first time!!

I especially loved the little ones walking down the aisle, pulling the wagon with the little brother, not to mention the moment of Bridget and her dad. And can we talk about that dress for a second? Bridget bought her wedding dress from Genevieve’s Bridal Couture in Deer Park. It wasn’t what she had originally thought she would end up looking for. The lace pattern was so beautiful and when she put it on she felt amazing in it.

Their wedding was a really good mixture of how they both imagined it. Very natural and rustic! After the Ceremony we took advantage of the beautiful setting at the Bleu Stem by adding few more portraits with the bridal party as well.

Bridget was most nervous about how their son’s (1yr – Talon and almost 3yr – Griffin) would do during the ceremony. They both did so well coming down the aisle. They also sat so well and patiently during their ceremony so Rob and Bridget were able to focus on each other. As we moved to the reception place inside the farm I realized that I will never grow tired of rustic weddings, especially when they’re done so impeccably like this one. Bridget mentioned that their wedding was a really good mixture of how they both imagined it. Very natural and rustic.

I asked Bridget if she has few words about her vendors. Here is her answer:

“Our florist Heather Shouse, the owner of Bottle and Branch did an amazing job making an already amazing venue exactly how we wanted it.

And our DJ, Adam Garrison and his wife Heather of Markee Entertainment did such an incredible job making both our ceremony and reception come to life! I truly cannot express my extreme appreciation for all the work they do! They made our wedding so unique and so us! ”

Congratulations again on your wedding, you two, and may your years be filled with happiness and plenty of mason jars!
