Jason and Kelly Engagement Photos Chicago

This post is about the sweetest couple ever: Kelly & Jason. This was one of the most challenging conditions for taking engagement photos in Chicago. We started with sunny day at LaSalle bridge and sank deep in a fog as we walked towards the Michigan Lake ending at Streeterville.

Kelly told me all about how Jason and her met when they were both students at Northwestern University. Both were at the same major and were in several student groups together. Been together ever since!

She also filled me in on the proposal. Jason proposed on the 96th floor of the John Hancock, the same place they had drinks every year for their anniversary. Afterwards they met up with their families to celebrate! Of course, she said Y-E-S! Their wedding date is set for September 5th. 2020. They will be getting married at the beautiful CD & ME (Frankfort, IL). They chose this location because of the great outdoor and indoor spaces. They liked the idea that the guests could float between the throughout the event and provided something unique over other venues! They’re not just excited about the details, though. They’re also excited to spend the rest of their lives together. It’s so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other! I bet you can feel the love through these photos.  Just check out the pictures if you don’t believe me!

We ended our engagement session on Streeterville which has been their home for the last four years and has defined a lot of relationship so it made sense to capture that in these photos. A lot of the locations were ones we walk passed all the time.
