Lights, camera, ACTION! Those are three of the words this happy couple lives by. Never afraid to be behind the shutter, they had creative ideas for their wedding photography all along. This was crystal clear from their engagement session in Chicago. The winter weather was no match for the love and warmth that radiated in their faces. By the time their Korean wedding came around, their photographers understood their style and expectations completely.

On May 18th, 2013, Esther and Josh’s big day took place in St. Louis, Missouri. Photos of the bride and groom

getting ready were taken separately before the ceremony ensued. Josh and his groomsmen were geared up as they stood on the street, waiting to meet the bride-to-be. Esther and her bridesmaids, all wearing dresses with sweetheart necklines, prepared themselves for the first look photo session at Forest Park.

Meeting on a bridge, Esther greeted Josh with open arms and his jaw dropped when he saw how beautiful his lady looked in her gown. This is the essence of wedding photography, the before and after glances which are priceless. Other shots took place at the World Fair Pavilion and Pillars by Jewel Box as well as some natural landscapes. The bridal party was also a big part of the wedding photography, the 4 guys and 4 girls stood alongside the happy couple.

The wedding ceremony was opened by Josh’s brother who is a priest and took place at Korean Hope Presbyterian Church. The party got started after they were declared husband and wife; they were introduced and had their first dance. A father-daughter and mother-son dance also took place, additionally; a funny slideshow was presented to entertain the special guests. And finally, it couldn’t be a Korean wedding would it be without a heap of food.

A great time was had by all, including the groom especially when the napkin got stuck to his forehead since he worked up a sweat and tried to wipe it off. Husband and wife sang their guests a song entitled Faithfull one and thanked them for accompanying them on their special day. The pair had a sparkler send-off that sealed the night of their Korean wedding away. Good luck to Josh and Esther!
