Boulder Ridge Country Club Wedding with Heather and Chris
Congratulations Heather and Chris!
What a great day we had at Boulder Ridge Country Club in Lake in the Hills! We met at the beginning of the winter for the engagement photos in Algonquin and I knew I will have a lot of opportunities for a journalistic aproach working with these tow.
Everything happened at the Boulder Ridge, the getting ready, the outdoor ceremony, the cocktail hour and of course the reception.
Heather and Chris met through mutual friend over 20 years ago. Heather was still in high school senior year. They went on a date to the city , and after they got home they were having a drink on back porch and that’s when Chris asked her to marry him!
They have two cute boys!! Logan and Reed.
Heather had a heart breaking story about her sister in law!
Lauren( the sister in law) and Chris’brother – Lucky have been together since they were young like 15-16 years old. They recently just got engaged themselves and has a little girl Piper. Piper is 5 years old.
Lauren got diagnosed right before Covid. She fought very hard for 2 years against cancer but she lost the battle and passed this past Easter.
She was suppose to be one of Heather’s bridesmaids. Lauren was so excited to be in a wedding and start planning hers.
Heather with Piper did 2 balloons release before ceremony as it was something special for her. Heather decided to have Piper in bridal party as to honor Lauren.
The wedding ceremony took place outside the Boulder Ridge and it was just an amazing view! They didn’t have a first look so this was the first time when Chris saw Heather as the bride.
After the ceremony we had time for few photos around Boulder Ridge Country Club.
The reception was so much fun! Everyone loved the food catered by Boulder Ridge and the music was perfect thanks to Wedstartdj!
Heather said “Love the location was beautiful , loved the decorations my mom did! They couldn’t have turned out better!!”
I wish Heather and Chris many more years of love and happiness!!
