Indian Wedding – Pearl Banquet Roselle

Indian Wedding – Pearl Banquet Roselle

Deepti and Rinesh, truly qualified and to be family doctors, became the centre of attention for my lens as I captured their engagement photographs last November. The place it was NW suburbs of Chicago.

Capturing an Indian wedding has always been my dream. Actually it is all about their rich culture and values being reflected at all stages. Deepti and Rinesh met each other while they were studying  medicine school on the islands. Yes, that’s where they lost their hearts to each other.

The wedding photo session started off early in the morning with photos from the bride’s getting ready in the hotel room.
We drove to the Itasca temple where the Barat arrived.
Rinesh expressed his joy as he danced with his family members after getting out of his yellow super car.
Family and friends welcome Rinesh and his wedding procession.
All the ladies from Deepti’s family stood in the honor of Rinesh and his family as they were welcomed with flowers. Their traditional wedding ceremony began at 9:00 am in the temple.
Deepti and Rinesh exchange garlands, signyfuing their mutual acceptance as lifelong partners.
The couple then circles the Agni ( holy fire), four times with Rinesh leading the first three rounds and Deepti leading the last part.
I truly enjoyed each and every ritual they practiced along with the “husband and wife ring finding game”.
Surprisingly, the weather was almost the same on their wedding as it was on their engagement, cloudy and overcast.
Deepti wore a beautiful black and red traditional dress on her engagement whereas Rinesh looked amazing in his light gold Kurta.
Deepti and Rinesh share their love for traveling as they were already making plans to take a long and calm trip to Europe away from their hectic doctoral routines.
The couple chose Pearl Banquet Roselle for their wedding and it was the absolute perfect venue for a breath-taking photo shoot.

In the evening, we were all set to have some Western garnishing along with the Indian main course. Deepti and Rinesh arrived for reception at Pearl Banquet Roselle. It turned out to be an amazing wedding ceremony as we witnessed speeches and dances from the family of the bride and groom. And we were even served with amazing cocktails and delicious specific indian dinner.
