Spring Wedding Hoosier Barn

Hoosier Barn Wedding in Spring

Shelley and Jeremy Spring Wedding Hoosier Barn   Streamwood, IL.

We’re all excited here at H Photography  Studio because spring has finally arrived. We are very happy to be outside in the beautiful sun and working with a camera in hand. We first met Shelley a few months ago to talk about her spring wedding in Streamwood. Shelley and Jeremy chose to have their ceremony and reception at the Hoosier Barn, a place we very familiar with as we’ve photographed there in the past.

We first started with the bride and the bridesmaids getting ready at the barn itself and then we moved to the
Hilton Garden Inn Hoffman Estate , located at the Hoffman Estates, where the boys were getting ready. Shelley sprayed on elegant perfume, had her hair professionally styled, and put on her wedding dress while we were there.

The bridesmaids wore opaque colors in the shades of pink and green and these colors were the wedding’s theme color. On the men’s side, they too wore opaque pink ties and green vests. The groom, Jeremy, wore a pink tie with a grayish silver tuxedo jacket on top.

The ceremony itself was very beautiful. Shelley’s mother – Joyce Zaremba helped organize the wedding and the interior was very nicely decorated. There were a lot of flower girls at the wedding, so we took the opportunity to photograph the little ones while we were waiting. The flower girls Olivia Grusnick and Scarlett King as well as the ring bearers Luke  Grusnick and Seven Zaremba.

Once everybody was ready, the bride and groom had their first look and we started the family and bridal party spring wedding Hoosier Barn photo session. There was a lot of laughter, smiles, and cheering going around during this time. The men even decided to take a little break to play soccer on the lush green field.

The ceremony began outdoors and
Reverend Perruci did the honors of officiating the couple.

The ceremony started with bridal party processional, opening prayer, first reading, second reading, wows and exchange of rings, the blessing of the art a good marriage, marriage reflection prayer and the pronouncment as husband and wife.

When the ceremony was done, we left to Pratt’s Wayne Woods in Bartlett for some unique one-on-one spring wedding photos with the newly married couple. The river and the old trees in the background really made the photo session extra special. One of my favorite photos is of Jeremy fishing at the pier.

We returned back to the reception and by that point it was cocktail hour. The bridal party, the newly weds, and the parents were presented to the guests and some emotional speeches were said during this time. After wards, there was the cake cutting and the first dance. The dinner was served by the
True Cuisine , a great catering company from the Chicago area. They always have delicious food.
