Georgiana and Ionut – Traditional Romanian Wedding at Concorde Banquets in Kildeer
This is our first wedding at Concorde Banquets in Kildeer IL.
There’s something about a classic, traditional wedding inside of a church that gets me every time. It just feels so pure and cinematic. We love the pews, the pulpit, the architecture, and – if We’re lucky – the incredible art.
These two started with getting ready at their homes in Des Plaines and it did incorporate the whole Romanian tradition of having a band going anywhere with the groom. This time the traditional band was brought from Romania and is the famous Florentina Si Petre Giurgi.
The photo session took place at Lincoln Park in Chicago. Since we were at South Pond Pavilion at Chicago’s, we wanted to make sure we took advantage of the architecture and of the skyline of Chicago in the background.
Georgiana and Ionut’s wedding took place at Holy Nativity Orthodox Church in Chicago, which has an amazing Byzantine feeling. The ceremony here was followed by the release of pigeons in front of the church which made it so spectacular.
The party took place at a beautiful and modern wedding venue Concorde Banquets in Kildeer IL . Amazing decor and delicious food combined with sweet tables were welcoming the guests at the reception party.
