A Gorgeous Wedding at Venuti’s Banquet and Ristorante

Last fall, we had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful couple, Kristie and Brad, as well as Kristie’s charming daughter, McKenzie. They chose us to capture their engagement photos, which was a fun experience, in addition to their lovely wedding.

On April 1st, they hosted a beautiful wedding that took place at Venuti’s Banquet and Ristorante in Addison, Illinois, and it certainly was an honor to photograph it. Filled with gorgeous wedding décor, heartfelt speeches, and delectable cake, McKenzie gained a best friend and Kristie married the man of her dreams.

Kristie and Brad’s wedding day began at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel in Addison, Illinois. Just as any other wedding, they first began by getting ready and creating memories, which we happily captured.

They then proceeded with the ceremony, which took place at Venuti’s Banquet and Ristorante.

·      Unity Rope. It is common to include a ceremony in which the new couple shows themselves becoming one, such as with a sand mixing ceremony, or a candle lighting ceremony. Kristie and Brad chose to feature a more unique tradition, the unity rope. Displayed on a rustic board, this couple tied together 3 knots to symbolize their lives joining together to form one. Their quote displayed “A chord of three strands is not easily broken”, which was quite fitting for their ceremony.

·      Brad’s vow to McKenzie. Blended families are becoming more common, today. It is such an admirable trait to love another child as your own. As Brad joined Kristie and McKenzie’s family, he not only made vows to care for and love Kristie, but he also made his own vows to McKenzie too. Brad had McKenzie join him on stage, where he recited a carefully put together sheet of vows. He also gifted McKenzie an opulent necklace. It was certainly an act of pure love.

Followed up with a gorgeous wedding photoshoot at  Prairie Center for the Arts in Schaumburg, Illinois. The day was an incredible success and too stunning not to share. If you would like to learn more about this gorgeous wedding, be sure to continue reading to discover more:

• Incredible day for photos. They say that April showers bring May flowers. But, April 1^st was an incredible day for photos. The sun provided the perfect lighting to create remarkable photos and the spirits of every person was lifted as high as possible. We were able to capture many memorable photos at the Schaumburg Prairie Center for Arts, as it served as a lovely setting for the wedding photo session.

Once the wedding photo session was done we got back to Venuti’s for the party!

 We love the opportunity to capture such an incredibly special day for couples. Having the chance to be a part of this unique and significant day for Kristie and Brad was such an enjoyable adventure, that we were happy to witness from the beginning.
