Engagement Photos with Maeve and Ephrem

Maeve and Ephrem Engagement Photos

Today I present the most in love couple I’ve ever seen: Maeve and Ephrem.

Neither of them grew up in the city, so they wanted pictures that combined nature and small-town feel. Dundee was the perfect location for that.

Maeve told me all about how Ephrem and her met.

“It was tough to meet people during COVID, but we managed to run into each other at a birthday party. She thought Ephrem would ghost her because he forgot to tell her the time for their first date. Fortunately she is a forgiving person.”

She also filled me in on the proposal. Maeve thought she was taking him out for a birthday dinner. They went on a walk after dinner at the Chicago riverwalk on a beautiful 40-degree night in December. The riverwalk was completely deserted. It gave him plenty of time to muster the courage to get down on one knee and ask.

Of course, she said Y-E-S! Their wedding date is set for  August 13. They will be getting married at St. Alphonsus Church in Chicago and the reception will be at the Cotillion at the beautiful The Cotillion Wedding Banquets in Palatine.
“St. Alphonsus Church is an incredibly beautiful church that is very meaningful to both of us, since we met through that community. We’re also really excited for the reception at the Cotillion, which will be a great venue to host all our beloved family and friends. And the dance will be lit.. ”

I asked if they have any tips or advice for other couples about to have engagement photos taken?

“Don’t worry too much about posing. Just be natural and be yourselves, so your natural love shines through. It really helps if you have an experienced photographer who encourages you in this.”

I asked how was your overall session experience?

“We were very confident that our pictures were going to look great, because Doru was so confident about the looks he wanted. It was a lot of fun, too, which is not always the case with photo shoots! It was relaxed and professional, which helped us look our best.”

They’re not just excited about the details, though. They’re also excited to spend the rest of their lives together. It’s so clear that this couple is head-over-heels for each other! I bet you can feel the love through these photos.

Looking forward capturing their love again on the wedding day!
