Finding the perfect wedding venue can be quite difficult, as there are more than enough beautiful settings. However, if you are planning a destination wedding, you have completely opened up your potentials for flawless wedding venues.

It’s important to narrow down your choices, and it’s best to start with your destination location. There are many gorgeous destinations that will provide a new and adventurous setting for your nuptials. In fact, Oxford, England is truly an awe-inspiring setting that will surely be a lovely location to host to your new memories. You get the best of both worlds, rustic farm land and stunning city architecture. These elements can make a lovely addition to your wedding photos!

Imagine walking down the streets, exploring local cuisine and culture, and taking it all in with your closest loved ones. This is why a destination wedding is wonderful, and Oxford, England can be the best choice for your wedding vows. If you are curious as to what makes destination wedding such a grand choice for accentuating your big day and your photos, be sure to continue reading:

  • Incorporate Props. Do you want to make your wedding photos more interesting? Perhaps you want to add more pizzazz with a focal point, or conversation starter? Props are a sure-fire way to bring more personality to each image. You can even focus on the props that are already there, such as your bridal gown details or your partner’s details. Or, you can bring something new to the party with umbrellas to work with the weather, or even a cigar for you or your partner.
  • Enjoy the Movement. Are you really going to be standing still your entire wedding? Absolutely not! Your wedding album shouldn’t reflect a still wedding. Enjoy the movement, from your first dance to your cake cutting ceremony. Getting up and about will create organic moments that your photographer can capture. Poses are great, but it’s when you’re moving around, enjoying your day, and sharing special moments with your new spouse that you will want to remember most. In addition, as you capture portraits with your new spouse, head outdoors and let the lovely surroundings that Oxford presents create the backdrop for your photos. Let your veil blow in the wind and capture beautiful, organic photos by presenting natural movement.
  • You Chose Your Venue for a Reason. You chose your venue for a reason, now show it off! Allow your photographer to explore the venue with you and capture your photos. You and your partner can enjoy exploring a new place and your photos will reflect it. Due to your destination wedding almost being a mini-vacation, you essentially get a wedding photographer and professional vacation photographer in one. The foreign appeal that a destination wedding offers should appear prominently within your photos to show off the unique and beautiful time that you had.

We had such a great time in Oxford with Alina and Ciprian. This was a photo session after the wedding. The whole day was raining and just when we hit Oxford the clouds just went away and gave such dramatic light. The colors were so vivid and we brought a red umbrella to make it more colorful.

The Wedding of Alina and Ciprian took place in Romania at Iasi and it was a blast. Filled with lots of Romanian traditions and reception at one of finest wedding venues in Romania. It was such a pleasure to photograph the wedding and the Destination Photo Session of such joyful couple!
