Camelia and Sebi’s Winter Wedding Photos
I met Camelia and Sebi before at Camelia’s sister’s wedding. Melinda, who is Camelia’s sister, had her wedding in the Detroit area as well. I was excited to see Camelia and Sebi again and to also see Melinda and her husband, Dimi, attend their wedding. The newly weds are a Romanian couple who also happen to live in the Chicago area. It was great catching up with them and seeing both of them so happy!
We started our winter wedding photos at the groom’s house and then later went to the bride’s house. The groom had his friends help him get dressed at his house. He wore a traditional tuxedo with a black bow tie. Camelia wore a beautiful white wedding dress with lacing in the front and a long veil that extended well beyond the floor. It was absolutely lovely to see such a traditionaldress on her.
When everybody was ready, we left Camelia’s house to go to the wedding ceremony located at Betany pentecostal church in Chicago. I really enjoy this church and its architecture and I took a couple of photos inside while the ceremony was happening. When the couple’s closest friends and the pastor gave their blessings to their marriage, we left the church and went to the wedding venue located at Chateau Ritz in Niles, IL.
While we were at the venue, it started to snow and we decided to seize the opportunity and take advantage of the wonderful winter and its scenery. We were fortunate enough to have a white winter coat for the bride, so that she wouldn’t be too cold while we were having the photo session. At the end of the night, the couple celebrated quietly with their friends and family.
