Wedding photography in Mchenry county with Urszula and Konrad

We had quite the fairy tale wedding a not long ago. Urszula and Konrad are a wonderful Polish couple who contacted us a few months ago after finding us through our website, thehphoto.com. The two were from the town of Algonquin in Illinois. We visited with the couple and they fell in love with our wedding portfolio and asked us to photograph their wedding. We were thrilled to spend time with Urszula and Kondrad talking about their wedding plans and our nearing photo sessions. Shortly after, we photographed their wonderful wedding along with the baptism of their precious son, Sebastian at St. Margaret Mary Church.

The wedding was held in their home town of Algonquin. This close knit community feel gave their wedding a picture perfect homely feel. The appropriateness of the town in which the wedding took place foreshadowed the couple’s cozy family life together in the years to come. The wedding was lovely and with the end of the wedding came the baptism of their only son, Sebastian. As you can see, this created a powerful moment for the family. The unity of the three of them shined through the pictures. They were always a family, and after the Polish wedding ceremony and Baptism it was official spiritually and legally.

After the wedding we had a photo session in downtown Algonquin. A rustic park provided a beautiful back drop for the wedding photos with the best man and bride’s maid. It had great scenery and created some artistic photography. We ended the day with a photo session for Urszula and Konrad. We walked through this green meadow with the couple photographing just the two of them together for the first time after the wedding ceremony.

However, the fairy tale did not end there. We went straight to the reception after that. What better way to end a romantic wedding day with a marvelous reception at Mandile’s restaurant! They ate and they danced and they laughed the night away. There was inspiring speeches given. Oh, and of course, the cake was delicious! We were just observant to all that was happening and we captured all the moments of their magical day on photograph… and yes, we did take photos of the wedding cake!

A big thank you to Urszula and Konrad from Algonquin. You were wonderful and your son is as cute as can be. We had a wonderful time at your wedding ceremony and reception and we wish you the best of luck! Congratulations!!!
