Kiran and Nisha Wedding Festivities

Welcome to Part 2 of our coverage of a beautiful Indian wedding with a traditional Hindu ceremony.  The festivities included a final reception that felt like a Bollywood movie.

Kiran and Nisha selected us for their engagement photographs, shot in November in a lovely Dundee, Illinois, park. Kiran and Nisha’s wedding photos at the Cotillion Banquet Hall give the illusion of a destination wedding in their authenticity and adherence to Indian heritage.  Such plump colors as mauve and violent combined with royal hues like red, gold and turquoise to produce an ideal color palette for a lively album.

After the end of their lavish ceremony, Kiran and Nisha journeyed back to the Holiday Inn to change into stunning outfits for their reception. We captured close-up portraits of the bride and groom in relaxed poses.  Nisha’s peachy pink sari blended perfectly with the raspberry hues of her modest bouquet.  We shot Kiran getting ready in a dapper black tuxedo fit enough to dance the night away, as he did.

The Cotillion transformed into the ultimate party location for this Indian wedding —perfectly arranged for the couple’s incendiary entry, speeches from loved ones, and reception dinner of custom Indian cuisine.  Notice our overhead shot of the banquet hall prior to the guests’ and couple’s arrivals.  It is a fairy tale scene.  With so much action on the dance floor amongst an elated crowd, we turned our cameras to colorful still shots.  The wedding cake and a row of silver, gold and copper bangles show the small touches that combined to make this wedding spectacular.

We were thrilled to be apart of this unforgettable event and moment for Kiran and Nisha.  Throughout every adventure on their journey, they were gracious, cooperative and joyous people to work with.  If you wish to bring a bit of your heritage and tradition to America for your wedding, The H Wedding Photography would love to join you.

We had the pleasure of working with Nisha and Kiran the traditional Mehndi (the night before the wedding) and the Garba night (after their official wedding day).  You may view photographs of these enchanting events by clicking on the bold words.

Congratulations Kiran and Nisha.  We were honored to be apart of your marriage ceremony and to be chosen as your wedding photographers.  We wish them a marriage and life fit for a King and Queen.
It was a pleasure working with:  Videography Service – W Studios, DJ Summit, Maliha Khan – she did the Makeup for the bride, Cotillion Banquets, and Angela Muntean Photography.
